Certification: ISO 14001:2004
After a careful revision of its production operations and improvement
of its environmental policy, Italmatch Chemicals has been awarded
the Environmental Management System Certification Iso 14001:2004 during year 2003.

Responsible Care:
Italmatch Chemicals adheres to the Responsible Care program, that
is a worldwide voluntary initiative of the chemical industry, with the
aim of achieving continuous improvement in health, safety and environmental
protection and in the dialogue with the local communities.
We pursue the Responsible Care guiding principles in the following main areas:
- Safety and personnel health: implementing at our industrial site an health
and safety management system to prevent and reduce the incidents and the
exposures to the dangerous substances;
- Environmental protection: implementing an environmental management system
to reduce the environmental impact of our industrial site;
- Safety of the process: achieving the identification, evaluation and
elimination or reduction of the risks connected with the activities of
our industrial site by the S.M.S. implementation;
- Product stewardship: to ensure the health, safety and environmental
protection in the cycle of life of the products.
