MELAGARD
Melamine derivatives work in many applications and they are safe in use, their proven balance with environmental issues adds further advantages.

MELAGARD MC (Melamine cyanurate) is used in the production of halogen free flame retarded unfilled and mineral filled nylons as well as thermoformable polyurethane (TPU) foams.

MELAGARD MP (Melaminephosphate)
is a Phosphorus/Nitrogen flame retardant additive mainly used in intumescent coatings and in polyolefins. Under fire it contributes to create a foamy carbonaceous char, forming a flame retardant insulating layer on the surface of the polymer/film and releasing non flammable gases inhibiting the further formation of combustible vapours from the substrate.
MELAGARD MPY (Melaminepyrophosphate)
is a Phosphorus/Nitrogen flame retardant additive mainly used in intumescent coatings.
MPY alone or in combination with other flame retardant additives is used in various thermoplastics, polyolefins, elastomers, engineering resins, paints and intumescent fire retardant coatings. It can partly replace Ammonium Polyphosphate (APP).
Can also be used in non-polymer fields covering Epoxy, Paper, Paint, Wood Laminates to effect fire retardant barriers.
MELAGARD MB (Melamineborate)
is a Boron/Nitrogen flame retardant additive mainly used in intumescent coatings.
MB alone or in combination with other flame retardant additives is used in various polyolefins as intumescent catalyser and smoke suppressant.
Can also be used in PVC as antimony free synergist and smoke suppressant.
